I should be fine. It should tell you at some point if it is not compatible.
Usually for just browsing there isn't a problem it's just when you get into the parts whare you have to enter information like in a test or similar situation but then again the web page should tell you before hand if there is any problem.
Eiffel for OSX is in beta. You can try the versions on the maceiffel site. See link
