First of all do not get your American Girl dolls wet.And if the eyes get wet they can rust the color of her eye can go away and become silver, Also they will be closed forever or opened forever. Then your doll will maybe get sent to the doll hospital for new eyes.or bye a new doll.So yes that what will happen or you can replace the eyes your self. witch would be very cheaper. And remember Kids don't get your American Girl Dolls Wet.
American girls are not waterproof
It's best not to put an American Girl doll in water, as the dolls aren't made of waterproof material.
they turn blue
Yes, they can, but not too wet. When you are styling their hair, it is better to lightly mist it with water. You can even wash it, if you need to (but only sometimes and with mild [baby] shampoo).

Don't get the "scalp" wet, or the cloth wet. They both could mildew and mold. Also a stench could come up, lol.
Good luck.
I say no but u can put her in if u want but will need to restaff her the if her eyes get stuck or hair fall of cuz of glue do not be surprise
I wouldn't suggest it, as the American Girl dolls' bodies are stuffed and will absorb the water, which could lead to mildew if improperly dried.
DO NOT get the wig cap wet. It could mold, mildew, and worse. When you wash the doll's hair, stay away from the "scalp". You should only wash the hair if you can't get it out any other way.
Good luck!
no the water will ruin the torso of the doll.
No. AG themselves suggests not to. The dolls body could get wet, which means they could mold. Also their eyes, if water is applied their eyes could rust and they will no longer open or close.
No.
The eyes will eventually rust and you will have to send the doll into the Doll Hospital to get her eyes replaced.
Only their feet and arms. Their bodies are not allowed in water. And no head either. Their eyes can rust. Be extra careful when washing their hair.
Yes,but you must scrup them with a warm towel and do not get the eyes wet because the are just like the dolls eyes ant the will rust.
You should try very hard not to get the dolls wet. Their soft fabric bodies can get damp and mildew if they get too wet, and their limbs can become loose and even fall off in extreme cases.
no
I think there eyes get wet
Can
She breaks
?
yes, you can.
You shouldn't get your American Girl doll wet at all. While the plastic on her arms, legs, and head is durable, getting her wet will loosen the joints in her body and can damage her fabric torso.
American girl eye rusting depends on how many times the doll gets wet. Some dolls eyes will never rust, but if the girl who owns the doll is constantly getting the dolls eyes wet maybe once a day then in about a month the dolls eye will rust, but you can always send the doll to the American Girl doll hospital :) Try not getting the doll wet. Getting the dolls eye wet two times won't rust it, but constantly will cause the doll's eyes to rust. Hope this Helpes, Renesmee
yes
Yes, but only a small amount with a spray bottle. If you do so, be sure to cover the soft part of your doll with a towel. However, in emergency purposes, such as if your American Girl gets dirt or mud in her hair, you may gently wash the American Girl's hair. If you choose to do this, you must not get the American Girl's body wet. It can ruin the American Girl Doll if her body gets wet.
no it doesn't I do it to saige all the time
As long as she didn't get too wet and everything is still attached to her body, she should be fine.
Yes, but don't soak it. That will make the wig worsen.
Nothing just there is pencil marker or crayon or whatever you use all over your doll so I wouldn't write on your doll in my opinion! Take good care of your doll and don't get it wet. Hope this helped!❤❤❤❤❤❤
yes, you can.
There are many things you can do to prepare for a new AG doll. Here are some: First, get an AG wire wig hairbrush. You have to use this brush because your doll's hair isn't real human hair so if you use a brush you use on yourself, you doll's can get damaged. Second, make sure you have somewhere to put your doll where she won't get wet or stepped on. Third, this is completely optional but you can look at clothes and accessories. You don't need to have them but they make playing with doll more fun :) I have 4 dolls and these are some of the first things I do. For more information I would recommend checking out the official American Girl website at store.americangirl.com/agshop/static/home.jsp
There is multiple ways, i myself have 2 girl dolls, i recomend gettting a wet paper towel, putting a little bit of DIAL SOAP, and then rubbing gently. after you do that, wipe it if again with just a plain wet towel, then dry it.comment down below if you have ever thought you lost something but really didnt.
