According to Christian belief, God is omnipotent (all-powerful), therefore if there was a devil then yes, he could kill him.

Answer:

God is incapable of killing Satan. If he could, then it would be right and proper for him to do so. If it is right and proper to do so, he would have done it. He has not, therefore he is not capable. This argument is actually based on Medieval logic.

Answer:

Satan is an angel and angels are "spirit beings." Spirit is immortal and cannot die. Nor does The Bible say anything about after the Judgment, Satan or his demons "dying."

Their judgment seems to be more in keeping with man's religious idea of a "fiery hell"... except the "hell" waiting for Satan and his ilk is "DARKNESS." Black impenetrable darkness. In either case, Satan and his demons are destined for "eternal torment" in a type of Dante-like HELL!

Of man's Judgment, the Bible speaks of incorridgibly wicked "men" being cast into the Lake of Fire and burning up... dead... eternally, unconsciously DEAD.

So, it seems as if the torment awaiting the angels, Satan has influenced into men's vain religions and men think THEY are doomed to eternal torment.

Not so. Man is not immortal... he's DIRT. Dust you are, and unto dust you shall return.

Of the demons, Jesus says:

"...When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none." (Matt.12:43)

A demon MUST POSSESS SOMEONE... or someTHING... or it is in violent torment.

Now, read Peter's and Jude's revelations regarding the future judgment awaiting these spirits:

"...these are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the MIST OF DARKNESS IS RESERVED FOR EVER." (II Peter 2:17)

"...clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead... wandering STARS, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever." (Jude 1:12-13)

A "star" is Bible symbolism for an "angel."

"...The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches..." (Rev.1:20).

"...behold a great Dragon... and his tail drew the third part of the STARS of heaven, and did cast them to the earth..." (Rev.12:3-4).

So, it's really not a matter of what God CAN do. It's a matter of what He's GOING to do.

Answer:

God does not kill the Devil because it would negate God's intentions in creating us.

When God gave man free will, it allowed evil to exist and created a divide between the perfect God and imperfect creation. The role of the Satan is to enforce that divide.

Contrary to popular belief (mostly as the result of Paul's misunderstanding of both Judaism and Christianity when he Hellenized it and encorporated many pagan ideas later in the New Testament), the Satan is an agent OF God not acting in opposition. While it's true that "Satan" (properly Shaitan) translates as "the adversary" it is not of God, but of man. Think of Satan as being like a white blood cell, purging creation of illness and disease.

By over coming temptations and enduring trials and tribulation, mankind proves it's holiness and is admitted back into the divine presence so thatnwe can become as God intended- truly in his image. If we were to be admitted into the presence without first being purified, we would be totally annihilated. Even Jesus had to endure trials and temptations to prove his holiness before he could be admitted back into the presence of his father.

Man creates evil, not Satan. Satan tempts us but can not lift so much as a finger against us, so why destroy Satan? It is our free will and our ability to make bad choices that cause the evil that we must all endure.

If god was to kill the "Devil/Satan" everyone who has not been saved and has not accepted Jesus as their saviour, they will all die when the devil dies. I am a Christian and I have been scrolling through the bible for answers, but, my good friend Matthew is also a Christian and he told me this. End of story. Imagine all of the innocent people who haven't had the time to discover Christianity... They will all die if he killed the Devil. I'm sure if this wasn't the case, God would of done this a LONG time ago!

Well the devil is equal to the power of other angels so it would be a tie. The only power the devil has is just lies, he denys and tries to make everyone think that he is the strongest and best, ugh how annoying is that. So yeah anyways an Angel can kill the devil, but we have to wait for that day; the End of Days, this fight will be happening at Megiddo.

One could question whether a spiritual being is alive in the known definition of the word.

Answer:

A group of Jews who didn't believe in the "resurrection" tried to trip Jesus up with a convoluted resurrection question once... and this was His response:

"...The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain to that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: NEITHER CAN THEY DIE ANY MORE: FOR THEY ARE EQUAL UNTO THE ANGELS; and are the Children of God, being the children of the resurrection." (Luke 20:34-36)

Lucifer (Satan, the Devil) is one of God's created angels... and "cannot die."

Yes God will kill Satan, but only from the minds of humans. Believe it or not but Satan has only ever existed in the mind and heart of humans, he's not actually physicaly set foot on earth. He doesn't even exists in the plant, animal or insect kingdom. So basicaly, when we are gone so will Satan.

Answer:

Have you ever had an encounter with the paranormal? Do you think that there are paranormal phenomena?

There are so many things in the universe that we humans do not perceive. Sound waves beyond our hearing, light waves beyond our vision.

Right?

Satan is from the spirit world. The paranormal world. He, like other 'spirits' - whether benign or evil - does exist.

God will cause everyone to die, before He raises them all up again for the Judgment. So, in that sense, Satan will eventually be dead. But then he will be resurrected, like everyone else, to stand for judgment.

satan is real, he exists, and will never die.

God will throw his stupid butt into first, the bottomless pit ( a donut shape would work) for 1000yrs, then thrown into hell fire to be burned forever (eternity).

It's in the Bible, check it out.
