The asteroid 2012-DA14 which made a close approach on Feb. 15 2013 came so close that its orbit was significantly changed into one that is closer to the Sun, making another approach unlikely for a very long time.
Before Feb. 15 it had an orbital period of 366.2 days and its distance from the Sun varied from 0.8935 to 1.001 astronomical units.
After that date its new orbit has a period of 317.2 days and it stays between 0.8289 and 0.9917 AU from the Sun.
The Earth moves between 0.9833 and 1.0167 AU from the Sun, so another close approach is theoretically possible but less likely than before.
no
You have to beat all three planets : fire, ice, and jungle, and then return with the three knights to the mystery asteroid and pull the Golden Key. (see related question)
The Oort Cloud or the Asteroid Belt.
asteroids come in shapes and sizes

Some astronomers think that asteroid came from fragments of a planet that disrupted by a strong gravitational force.
You don't blow it up, you send it away so people can pick up the SOS. You must slow down the engines that have light going towards the asteroid and shoot them ( they blow up.) Watch out for aliens that come your way. Next you jump on the asteroid and get out of the ship. Then you destroy the generators outside. You can finally plant the SOS on the asteroid. Then you go back inside and go to the controll room and launch the asteroid. As soon as you do that, aliens show up, so be careful...
No. Comets come from beyond the asteroid belt, mostly from a region called the Kuiper Belt, beyond the orbit of Neptune.
The Chicxulub asteroid is believed to have come from the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter. It is thought to have been a fragment of a larger asteroid that collided with Earth around 66 million years ago, leading to the mass extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs.
Without gravity, you could jump all right... but you wouldn't fall back down. For example, if you jump on a small asteroid (with hardly any gravity), you would propel yourself into space and wouldn't come back.
Ceres as it is within the Asteroid belt
An asteroid is hunks of rock or metal a comet is ice and as it gets closer to the sun it turns to water vapor as it gets further it turns back to ice.
