It is a possibility. However, most colleges and universities do not directly evaluate credits from outside of the US. Perspective students are typically required to have their coursework evaluated by an official evaluation agency within the United States. Still, this is not aguarantee the coursework will transfer. It will depend on whether a course is equivalent in credits, content, and if usable within the intended program of study (major). The evaluation just gives them something to go on. The most widely used evaluation on the eastern coast of the US the, World Education Services (WES) located in New York City. You will have to request a course by course evaluation.

∙ 14y agoAnytime you transfer credits, whether in country or out of country, it is always up to the receiving institution as to which credits will apply. However. if the coursework was taken at a regionally accredited institution, they usually will honor that. Still, read the below as to why some credits may not transfer from one institution to another.
- Courses were taken at a college or university without the appropriate accreditation.
- Course was not passed with the appropriate grade.
- Course was not equivalent to the receiving institution's credit and/or course content requirements.
- Course does not fit into a student's declared major.
- Course may be antiquated and no longer useful in terms of course content (example, computers)
- Course exceeds the transfer credit limit (not typically the case).

Some will evaluate the coursework themselves, while other may require the documentation be evaluated by an official evaluation agency. You would have to inquire about the procedure at each institution you have an interest in.
