The count is listed under vampire so I would assume yes but I am unsure
11dbhk: he can't actually BITE you but you can contract vampirism from him the same as you can any other Vampire npc.

This has happened to me once. I think this might work. First save so if its doesn't go well you can reload it. then simply break into the castles personal quarters and find the count. if it doesn't work just reload the game. Work for me at least.
