Yes, ibuprofen has the side effect of keeping we awake. It's much better than caffeine for me since I don't get jittery with it.
- no it knocks me out , i can sleep for hours after i take it.
-It keeps me awake also. It's the only way I can pull an all-nighter, and it's without Caffeine.
Two studies have considered this question and both have confirmed that ibuprofen (or similar non-steroidal anti-inflammatory - NSAID) does not improve sleep. Gengo (2006) says taking Ibuprofen does not provide any better sleep than non-ibuprofen sleep, however Murphy et al (1994) found that NSAID's may actually disturb sleep.

Last night I went to bed at 1 am, much later than usual and was pretty exhausted. I felt a headache coming on so I took 2 Ibuprofen just before going to bed and ended up lying there for 3 1/2 hours!! I have a 1 yr old and a 6 yr old....THIS NEVER HAPPENS! I usually fall asleep withing minutes of my head hitting the bed. I went over and over in my head what could be causing this and the only thing I can possibly think of is the Ibuprofen. I'm glad to know now that it can keep me up...i won't be doing that again!!
Usually, no. Sometimes it even helps to be taken for pain that keeps you awake when you want to sleep.
But always check the ingredient label on your box or bottle to see if it has caffeine in it. If it does there's a good chance it won't make the sleeping process any easier.
yaa cuz you drink water to eat it LOL ...JUST DRINK WATER ^_^
One of the side effects of Ibuprofen is drowsiness. While not everyone will experience that side effect, some are likely to.
I'm not sure if it really does or not but after taking a high prescription dose of naproxen I find that I don't sleep very well.
in certain doses it can. this is because there is caffeine in it. just don't take more than is suggested, and you will get to sleep just fine.
sure,when mixed with methamphetamine
Does albuterol keep you awake
If you mean do oranges keep you awake at night, they shouldn't unless you have acid reflux. That could definitely keep you awake. If you mean the color...yeah, it keeps me awake cuz its so bright.
I have no sicentific evidence that it does. But, as we speak, i am trying to keep my self awake by smoking, and it seems to work.

They are not awake.
The word 'sweet' is important. Tea by itself may not keep you awake, but when you body has more sugar than it needs for energy, it is the sugar converted to energy that will keep you awake

Crystal Meth, Extacy, LSD all will keep you awake for long periods with continued dosage.
Day time Tylenol does not keep you awake. It simply does not contain the drug/chemical that makes you drowsy.
