If the parents object to such a relationship it is possible for them to file a complaint with the authorities and/or possibly pursue civil action. All states have several laws that pertain to relationships between minors and adults, there does not need to be a sexual relationship. Some of the charges that are possible are, contributing to the deliquency of a minor, corruption of the morals of a minor, endangerment, coercion and/or intimidation of a minor by a person in authority, and so forth.

∙ 17y agoI don't think there is a law against "hanging out" in any state, but if your underage child does not want to be around this person or you don't want her haning out with this person then just get a restraining order. But a piece of advice from someone who always hung out with the "older" crowd as a teen, this person may not be as bad of an influence on your kid as you think, an adult, most likely would not let/get your kid into any juvenille trouble, even though your kid hanging with an adult may seem creepy or just not right, it happens, and theres a reason, like maybe your kid feels too mature for kids their own age or something like that. I am pretty sure that there is A law that can run this perv off, You need to call the cops and at least get this on record.
