I am curious to know the correct answer as well. For me, as US presidents are not allowed to personally keep any gift they receive when they are in function, in Obama's case he didn't have any other choice than giving it to a US charity.

The priceless compension being to be able to turn it as the upmost act of charity!

Anyway, being so young he'll make many more millions during the rest of his life after the presidency!
