No Depends on make, model, and engine. Some older style engines have the rear main seal in the rear main bearing cap. If that is the case, it is possible if the oil pan can be removed with the transmission in place.
Or someone didn't do a proper job on the repacement engine and you've got a leaky head gasket.Answer"Stuff" is still in the muffler and exhaust system.Thick white smoke can also be the transmission oil being sucked to the engine. check your transmission oil as well.
could be bad mounts on either the tranny or engine?
Yes you can. Just put a board on the top of the jack and slide it up under the transmission pan so it will support the transmission when you remove the engine. NO PROBLEM.
It could be the torque convertor or transmission. Try dropping the transmission pan and replacing the transmission oil filter and transmission fluid.
you can remove the engine from the top by leaving transmission still in car
transfercase
The torque converter is between the engine and transmission. It's a device that allows the torque of the engine to be passed through from the engine to the transmission and still allow the engine to run when the vehicle is stopped.
It could be anything from the engine to the connectors
still have p0715 still after cganhe the parts / you think is this transmission module \
You need to reset the light by using diagnostic equipment even though the part was replaced the fault code will still be stored in the ECU memory.
My 1999 Honda Odyssey transmission went bad in 2005. The dealer replaced my transmission which was still warranty.. the warranty was lengthened to 100k miles because of problems w/these transmissions
yes. you are still moving in a direction, and the wheels are still spinning, and the engine is still running, and the transmission is still being used.
