Call your local GM dealer with the seventeen digit vin number and they will be able to tell you. NEW ANSWER: Yours has a 4L60E in it. The 1/2 tons used the 4L60E and the 3/4 tons and up used the 4L80E. They quit using the 700R4 around 1991 ( I think ) The 4L60E and the 4L80E will not interchange due to the wiring harness and ECM / computer.
depends....your vin number will tell you. call a dealership with your vehicle id #
No, the 4L60e from a 2wd 05' Astro van vin X does not fit on a 98' Astro van vin W.
GRAB YOUR VIN NUMBER AND GO TO A DEALER. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHICH TRANNY YOU HAVE. The better info would be: If it has a square shaped transmission pan and has 16 bolts around it, then it is a 4L60e. If it is more of a rectangular shaped pan and has 17 bolts, then it is a 4L80e.
You'd need to check the VIN of your 93 S10 against manufacturer records... 93 was the first model year that the 4L60E was put into use, but some of the earlier 93 models still used the 700R4. If it came with a 4L60E, the 99 4L60E should work.. if it came with a 700R4, making the swap to a 4L60E will be a bit more complicated.
call a parts store or dealer with the VIN off door or windshield....one of the letters in # is trans code It is either stamped into the housing or is on a metal tag, on the right side of the transmission, just above the pan New answer: If it is a 1/2 ton. Then it has a 4L60E trans. If it is a 3/4 ton. Then it is a 4L80E trans.
No
No one can tell you the VIN # for your motorcycle. The VIN # is different on every one.
On a 17 digit VIN , the 8th " character " of the VIN will indicate which engine you have
The original manufacturer may have those records but the VIN will not tell you directly.
Yes, with the VIN you can find the history of the car.
