Can too much Tim on the xbox hurt your eyes?

Staring at a TV or computer screen for extended periods of times can hurt your eyes. This is for three main reasons:
- screens of nearly all types work by emitting light in small glowing dots. Because these dots are fuzzy, your eyes can not lock onto them as well as say... text in a book. You're eyes eventually become strained while trying to focus for several hours.
- The screen is usually at a fixed location. Staring at a book for extended periods (usually much longer than looking at a screen) of time may also produce this strain. By looking into the distance occasionally, this effect may be relieved.
- The screen emits light, rather that reflects it. This means it's usually brighter than the surrounding area, which also irritates the eyes.

The game system itself has little to do with this.
