I add: Hans Selye long ago discovered a condition called the General Adaptation Syndrome, which refers to death caused by total exhaustion of the body's energy resources when the sympathetic nervous system is stimulated constantly, as it was not intended by nature to be in continuous dominance over the body's functions. Anger causes the metabolism to speed up to about 300% its normal rate, the immune system and digestive systems to shut down, the blood pressure to rise, and the body's energy caches to be burned up. It is one of the human nervous system's greatest defenses against extreme physical danger, enabling our primitive ancestors to defend themselves against attacking predators - and each other - with great vigor and strength, but today, that massive mobilization of energy is rarely needed. Nonetheless, our ancient limbic system in the brain and sympathetic nervous system in the middle spine respond as though it were. Thus, angry people need to burn off the excess energy (preferably not in a wild brawl!) and then replace it. This means that vigorous exercise needs to be followed by an interval of rest and recuperation of those lost energies. If this does not happen, exhaustion and death can occur. In addition to this, some people have nervous system anomalies that cause their bodies to become severely over-stimulated very easily and must be treated with medications such as Beta-Blockers.

That is one of the usual phenomena in daily life. It is called as vasovagal syncope. When you find yourself in some stressful situation, you get the fainting attack or the blackout.
