not as far as i know, it has a sealed transmission !
2001 Malibu's have a sealed transmission. They don't have a dip stick.
A Trans Am is a uni-body frame and the Malibu is a full frame. So absolutely not.
Considering the fact that the Trans Am is a unibody and the Malibu is a full frame car...NO
i have an 01 malibu, there is no dipstick to check, there is a red plug on top of trans between the engine and trans, if the trans leaks they suggest to go to dealer, id say its the same 4 a 2004 i have an 01 malibu, there is no dipstick to check, there is a red plug on top of trans between the engine and trans, if the trans leaks they suggest to go to dealer, id say its the same 4 a 2004
short
Believe it or not on automatics there is no dip stick for trans. there is a plug on trans. like manuals have and it is checked that way
I was told that I could tow my Chev Malibu with all wheels on the pavement behind my RV by one dealer, then another said I couldn`t .....can I or can`t tow the car without putting it on a dolly If the car is automatic trans. NO. If its a stick, only for SHORT trips.
I have a 2000 Malibu and it does not have a tranny dipstick. You have to check fluid under car, there is a check hole on the trans. It's a pain in the butt.
Transmission could be adversly effected. Shifting problems can occur and worse case the transmission can be permantly damaged.
The nuetral safety switch may be bad or not hooked up right on the trans. that was installed.
It should be on the dip stick tube or just in side of the trans where the tube goes in
How do fill the trans fuild on a 2011 hyundai tucson
