No you cannot house 2 adult corn snakes in one cage if you want to know why you can try it but I advise you do not.
snakes can stay out of their cages for as long as you want, just dont step on them
Just use a large bird cage, or a rabbit cage. My rat has a rabbit cage, and she's as happy as can be. My old rat had a bird cage, and he was perfectly fine.
