Yes. You only lose virginity by having sexual intercourse. If you think about the hymen it is not a sign of virginity. It stretches and might tear a little but will go back to normal.
The nurse applied K-Y Jelly to the vaginal speculum. The physician inserted the vaginal speculum into the woman's vagina.
Yes, you can have an IUD placed if you haven't had vaginal sex. The only limiting factor is likely to be discomfort from the speculum if the hymen is intact.

When a girl has vaginal sex, she is no longer a virgin.
A vaginal speculum is used by a nurse, doctor or midwife to hold the vagina open so that they can inspect the cervix and the walls of the vagina, take swabs for laboratory testing or take smears to check for cancer. The most common vaginal specula types are the Cuscoes (or duckbill) Graves (wide) and the Pederson (Narrow). Each type comes in three sizes: small, medium and large. They have two adjustments: a "V" spread and a parallel spread. Both can be locked in position. All specula should be sterilised before use. Soak in a 1 to 10 dilution of Chlorine Laundry Beach for 5 minutes, rinse and dry IF the speculum is plastic. If it is metal, bleach must not be used. Metal speculums should be washed in hot soapy water then boiled for 20 minutes or sterilised in a proper sterliser or autoclave.
During a vaginal exam with a speculum, the instrument is inserted in the midsagittal plane.
A virgin means that you never have had sex. If you are NOT a virgin, then that means that you have had sex. "Sex" includes what goes "in" or "in" (oral or vaginal), but the word virgin applies specifically to a person who has not had intercourse. But, oral sex and vaginal sex carry the same risks of STDs.
