How are vampires still alive if they don't have a pluse?

Vampires are fictional creatures, so they don't need a pulse to survive. In folklore, vampires are often considered undead beings that live off the blood of the living. Their existence is based on supernatural characteristics, not biological functions like having a pulse.

Do vampires need to feed on humans?

If vampires existed, they would need to feed off of humans, because they have the most nutrient rich blood. Though, if they fed exclusively off of human blood, a vampire would need to drink over 36 bathtubs full of blood in order to survive. Though, it is possible that a vampire could survive off of other blood, but it would just need more of it because other blood (besides a human's) contains less nutrients. But vampyers still dont exist. Vampires don't have to feed off of human blood but (unfortunately for the vampire) they are very much what they eat and acquire the traits of their prey. Lestat fed off of rats for a time and became a furry, futivative 'creature'. He also 'used' an alligator once and became green and scaley for a few days. * Huh, the third comment was interesting- but untrue. See, vampires CAN have other kinds of blood: cow, sheep, deer .etc. they don't get the same characteristics as their victims. But the first comment is partly true in the fact that humans DO have more nutrients that the vampires need to survive, but is wrong in the amount. They would EXPLODE if they had 3 gallons or more, and flood their lungs and drown in the liquid. "36 bathtubs" is WAY over exaggerated: if that was true- with the vampire population- then everyone would be a vampire by now... No, they can survive on small amounts, and last weeks. But PREFER human blood because it strengthens and quenches the thirst longer. ~DZAir

Are French Vampires allergic to garlic?

No. Because of the prevalence of garlic in French culture, French vampires had to displace their root vegetable weakness to survive; they are instead warded off by rutabagas.

Why are vampires called leeches?

Vampires are sometimes referred to as leeches because they are believed to suck blood like leeches do. Additionally, leeches are parasitic creatures that feed off others, similar to how vampires feed off human blood according to folklore and mythology. The term "leech" also conveys the idea of something that drains resources or energy, which aligns with the traditional characteristics of vampires.

What wards off vampires?

Vampires arent real. So they cant be warded off.
