Ceramic flooring is much more easier to wipe using mop and soap water. It's easier for one to clean than compared to carpet which absorbs in liquid when spilled on the floor.
Ceramic tiles come in various thickness, a 8 x 12 could be 1/8 if it's a wall tile or as much as 3/8 if a floor tile.
Ceramic tile is easy to clean, and pretty heat resistant. It does heat up quite well if the sauna is really well, so that it's hot to walk on the floor, but doesn't affect the temperature of the sauna as much as the stove (kiuas) does.
As much as humanly possible.
The cost of the removal of a ceramic tiled floor can vary depending on the company used and size of the area that the floor covers. It is best to call different contractors to obtain estimates before settling on one. One may also save some money by breaking the tiles up themselves, and then hiring someone to remove the grout.
yes
what is the waste allowance with floor tile
The overall weight doesn't matter so much as the lbs/ sq inch. Is the 1000 lbs distributed over a wide area? If so it's much more likely that you can. It will also depend on your subfloor. If the ceramic is over concrete then you are likely fine. If the ceramic tile is over a wood subfloor the 1000 lbs would need to be well distributed and put in place very gently to avoid flexing the wood floor and possibly cracking the tiles.
