actually, you can not get your eye sight back from glasses. If that was the case, there would be no blind people! Although, glasses do improve the eyesight of those who are in need of improvement. That is why when a person who is close to blind, cant see without there glasses

There is no one-answer-fits-all here. In some cases, you can be permitted to drive if legally blind; naturally, your vision must be examined by the local Department of Motor Vehicles and your individual case must be personally inspected. One who has vision in only one eye can possibly be permitted to acquire a driver's licence, while still being legally "blind". By saying "no, never, absolutely not", which is false, the previous answerer obviously failed to take into account that "legally blind" is not synonymous with "completely blind".
I had double vision for 4 weeks then it improved. now after 5 weeks it seems to be "gone" but will come back later in the day as I use both eyes more. this type of double vision is only when using both eyes, covering one eye gives normal vision but of course restricted due to only one eye being used. a doctor told me if the cause is a TIA (mini-stroke) then usually the double vision will go away. so the short answer is if it is going to go away then maybe 2 weeks or more. there are many causes for double vision so medical care is necessary.
It IS possible to get your vision back after being totally blind. The circumstances under which this could happen are rare, however. Say, for example, that you were kicked in the back of the head by a horse... this could knock the optical nerve out of place, causing you to go blind. If you were struck in the back of the head again, it is possible that the optical nerves can click back in place, resulting in a miraculous return in vision. If you go blind from some sort of chemical or other accident which results in the physical scarring or destruction of the eye, it is next to impossible to regain your vision. If you have been blind from birth due to some sort of birth defect, laser eye surgery may be able to give you the gift of sight.
He was born blind he could see but his vision was so bad he was legally blind but he had eye surgery and is not longer blind

you can do what ever he/she/it asks as long as they dont go beyond the feilds of relativity!
Yes. If you damage the optical part of the brain, it is possible to go blind, even if the eyes are perfectly healthy. Think of it this way, you could have a good webcam plugged into your PC, but if the PC is damaged (such as if the USB controller is bad), it might not be able to get the image. So even if the camera is good, it won't be of no use if it is attached to a damaged computer that cannot make use of it. Thus it is with vision. You can have healthy eyes but have brain damage that makes the brain unable to make use of what the eyes are sending to it.
a welder? well never leave home without your safety goggles. if you do youll go blind so thank neodymium for your vision
Yes. Elevated oxygen levels for too long can make you lose your vision. That's why premature babies are often blind when they grow up. Take Stevie Wonder for example.
