We have a car that was damaged due to flood waters in NC, we need some assitance determining if the car is beyond repair. What we are looking for ,is at what percentage of the car's value is too much to have the car repair. If anyone out there can help us answer this question, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Depends on the extent of the water damage. If the car was completely under water during a flood, and is moldy as a result of that flooding, then, yes, the car would be a total loss. If the water damage is inconsequential small leaks, those kind of things can be easily repaired.
Boiling water will not damage your car tires. It is a method used to remove stubborn rims that have stuck from the car tires.
Most insurance agencies, including Farmers, will total a car with this amount of damage. It depends on where the damage is and if the engine and other expensive parts of the car have been compromised or totaled.
damage engine no.. will the engine run no.
water damage.
No. It is made to withstand water.
yup you can completely total your car which sucks and you have to pay for any damage that may occur
It burns up the engine very quickly.
collision coverage
Auto water damage is damage to your car as a result of water. It can be difficult to spot, especially if repairs have been made. It can include unseen rust, damaged carpet, and components flooded with water.
If the car has been under water, junk it. If you decide to keep it, there will always be problems and will be a constant drain on your wallet.
