Nuclear energy comes already stored in small packs called atoms. But as for out modest ability to access and harness it for good, we as humans are still a long way from a "small pack" of nuclear energy that might be used to generate electricity, warm food, or light a living space. Anyone who envisions a lunchbox sized nuclear energy source is thinking beyond our technical ability. About the best we can do is build a small nuclear reactor about the size of a shipping container to generate energy via fission.
no it does not store chemical energy it turns into thermal energy:)
The nucleus of an atom can store potential energy, which is released when nuclear reactions occur, such as fission or fusion. This energy is harnessed in nuclear power plants or in nuclear weapons.
nuclear energy
Nuclear energy appears as heat, and it is not practicable to store this heat, it has to be used to produce electricity. You could regard the new nuclear fuel as a store, the nuclear energy is there, just waiting to be released, and it would be practicable to stockpile fuel to be used if supplies of uranium were interrupted for some reason. I am not sure how much fuel is in fact stockpiled by the power companies that own power plants, but it would be possible for the federal government to pay to store more, if they wanted to.
Usually this is some sort of potential energy, especially chemical energy, but also nuclear energy.
There are arguments about where to store the waste. (APEX)
The following nuclear reaction may not be good for energy production in a fission reactor if it produces unstable or short-lived isotopes that can lead to radioactive waste with long half-lives, which can be difficult to manage and store safely. Additionally, if the reaction generates a small amount of energy compared to the input energy required to sustain the reaction, it would not be an efficient or sustainable energy source for a fission reactor.
Steve's Packs is a store in Jerusalem, Israel that sells back packs.
Animals store only a small amount of energy in their body tissues because most is used for a life processes.
It is not stored for later, all you can do is damp down the reactor with control rods.
More radioactive waste products to store safely
The source of energy of plants is sunlight.
