Any object exposed to lice can get lice, in that lice can jump onto the object. However lice need to eat often and so they will not stay on an object which is not food to them. Same with fleas. Dog flea will bite you, but they will not live on you.
Adult Lice die quickly without food, so merely keeping the wig in a sealed plastic bag for a day should take care of any nervousness about lice on it.
