Really no. But sometimes it could freeze the computer like it does to my dads computer. And sometimes it could it could make the desktop turn big like it does on my moms laptop. But on my friends laptop it works just fine! When the computer freezes, you could unplug the plug to the computer and then plug it again like I do, or if the desktop gets big, there's a way too. But I forgot. So I think it depends on the computer or laptop type to say if Wizard101 will harm it or not. I hope I helped!!
Anything that you download from the internet could be infected and/or affiliated with virus spyware, and in that way harm your computer big time. Also, it runs with an open internet port (because it's an online game) that hackers can exploit.
