You pull the ruber boot off the top of the spark plug , take the plug out, put boot back on the plug, touch steel part of the plug to steel on motor, pull motor over while watching the gap on the plug if you see spark it should be ok if no spark do the same with a spark plug you know is good to make sure it is the plug. Hope this helps

To change the spark plugs in a Chevy Celebrity: 1. Give the spark plug boot a twist to free it up from the spark plug, then pull on the boot to remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. 2. Use a 5/8" spark plug socket with an extension and ratchet or breaker bar to loosen then remove the spark plug. 3. Set the gap on the new plug to .045" then screw it back into the spark plug hole in the head. Tighten the spark plug and replace the spark plug wire. I change the spark plugs one at a time to keep from getting the spark plug wires on the wrong spark plug.
Spark plug wire not connected to spark plug? Spark plug wire connected to Wrong spark plug? Vacuum line disconnected? Bad spark plug or wire?

Easiest way is to remove the spark plug from the motor, plug it into the spark plug wire and lay the metal part against the frame and hit the starter button or use the kicker to kick it over a couple of times. You should see a Blue spark, and it is easiest with two people, one with the kicker/starter and one watching for the spark. P.S. don't touch the plug, you can get a shock!
