I advise getting it done with your dealer because they know all the ins and outs of the push button start and will better aid you in knowing how to use the remote start properly with the new technology. Getting it done with them will not hurt your warranty if they mess anything up. I bought one 3 months ago and just had the remote start installed after Christmas and love it. Very convenient especially if you're in a cold area. You can also have other features programmed i.e. garage door open, window roll down, rear defrost turn on, etc. Inquire with you dealer they should offer about 4 different packages. Hope this helps
