The force you apply to a simple machine is known as the input force. This force is used to perform work on the machine, such as lifting an object or moving a load. The output force generated by the machine is what ultimately helps to make the work easier to accomplish.
Cold weather can affect the curing process of gunite, which is a type of concrete. If gunite is exposed to freezing temperatures before it has fully cured, it can lead to weakened material properties and potential structural issues. It is important to take precautions such as using insulated blankets or temporary enclosures to protect the gunite during cold weather.

It is a simple machine which can be used to apply a relatively weaker force over a longer distance instead of a much greater force over a short, direct distance.
In a machine, the effort force you apply is used to overcome a resistance force. The resistance force is the force that the machine acts against in order to perform work.

Patents apply to any machine created under that patent until the patent expires. It does not matter how many times the machine is used or how many times it changes hands, the patent is still a patent.
A machine's mechanical advantage is the number of times a machine multiplies the amount of work force you apply.
