Can you be addicted to spider solitaire?

Yes. I know this for a fact. My aunt is addicted to it. She has played it everyday for the past four years since her mother died, taking up hours upon hours of her spare time. Recently I brought this concern to her and she became enraged. Now she only plays it when she thinks that I don't know that she is playing it, and quickly turns the computer off when I enter the room. It's just like a teenage boy checking out porn on the net when his mother opens the door. Every morning has got to start with solitaire, and the minute she gets home from work the first thing she wants to do is, you guessed it, play solitaire. She is a secretary so I imagine she probably plays it on her work computer as well. She cant even finish a task around the house, for example cleaning the bathroom without playing that stupid game. I don't understand how the simple task of organizing numbers and black to red, black to red repeatedly can trigger this type of compulsive disorder. Is there anything that can help her with this addiction?
