If you license is not valid you can get a ticket. A valid license no matter the age you don't get a ticket. A basic drivers license has no "upgrade."
Yes. You'll need a vehicle to road test in for the upgrade.
The benefit of obtaining a full Class 5 driver's license is that there will be no GDL restrictions. Drivers can upgrade their licenses to commercial classes and can supervise Class 7 learners.
You need a basic drivers licence before you can upgrade to a CDL. The class of the basic operator's permit varies by state - in some states, it may be Class C, while others will have different classifications for it.
License fees vary from state to state - you'll have to inquire with your state's DMV on this, as I do not know what your state is.
there are 2 ways of getting no class 1.You upgrade upgrade finish but u have on a upgrade class then the add no class.2.you wait for the harvest event
No upgrade needed unless you're using it to haul hazmat.

DPA indicates that the licence holder possesses a Class D licence (non-CDL licence classes vary by state, but "D" is normally a standard drivers licence) with a learner's permit to train to upgrade to a Class A CDL.
Yes they are, however, bus drivers get more specialized training beyond their class C license. They need a class B license. You first need a class C license before you can get a class B license.
As far as I can remember, the only additional written test you'd be required to take at the DMV would be Combination Vehicles. However, if you wanted to upgrade your license without having to go through a driving school/CDL course, you've had to get a BPA license (Class B license, learner's permit for Class A) first to be able to train in a Class A vehicle. You would have to find someone certified to be a Class A instructor (usually through a company), and a company which would allow you to both train in their vehicle and provide you with that vehicle for the hands-on tests you'd be required to take at the DMV (road test, pre-trip, etc.).This is a bit unlikely, and chances are that you will have to go through a complete CDL course, the same as anyone with a Class C/D license does who wishes to upgrade to a Class A. Your local community college can provide you with more information on this.
