i don't think so but maybe.
HCG is the hormone human chronic gonadotropin, which is produced by placental cells during pregnancy.
Yes, you can be pregnant with an HCG level at 3. Typically, below 5 is negative and above 25 is positive. It can be this low in the first week or two of pregnancy. Some women have lower HCG levels during pregnancy than are typical. Ectopic pregnancies can result in low HCG levels. It can also indicate a problem with the pregnancy. It is best to have at least two HCG readings a couple days apart, if you are relying on HCG levels. If you think you should be 5 or more weeks pregnant but have low HCG levels, it would be a good idea to double-check with an ultrasound.
Positive urine tests means u are pregnant. But if HCG value is 3,then u have to do repeated 2-3 tests of Beta HCG after consultation of your doctor. It may or may not be Ectopic pregnancy(Pregnancy which is out of uterus).Consult any good Gynacologist.U can find various GyNaE phone no.from internet.THanks and Welcome for any Query.Best Wishes and Get well soon.

hi there, from what i have read and what i know, if you were pregnant with twins your hormone levels would be higher earlier on. i have one child and i did a test two days after my missed period and it was positive straight away! i am pregnant again with my second and i did a test one day before my missed period and it came back positive (two times!!) i say wait two more days as the hcg hormone doubles every couple of days, if you are pregnant it should show up then. good luck and i hope it is positive!!
I guess it is possible.. This just happen to me.. I went to the ER because I had bleeding, but thought I was pregnant even took a HPT and it came out positive.. The test I took at the ER came out negative.. They told me that sometimes when your hormones are higher than normal it can give out positive readings on HPT they checked my blood and I didn't have as high of a hormone level as most pregnant women do,but it was still pretty close. Still very confused, but oh well..
the factors are: 1. The level of blood of hormone 2. The Numbers of receptors for hormone on the cell 3. The connection between the hormone to the receptor.
Hormone Calcitonin and Hormone Parathamon
Can I become pregnant if I have an elevated level of prolactin in my blood?
The parathyroid glands are responsible for monitoring the calcium level in the blood. When the calcium level is too low, the parathyroids produce parathyroid hormone (PTH) to increase the calcium level in our blood.
if there is any kind of 2nd line at all i mean barely hard to see faint, it most likely is pregnant, you may just have a high hormone level. the second line is reading some kind of hormone from the placenta, just to make sure though, take another hpt in a couple of days and then if its still positive then to make double sure go take a blood testanswerI agree with the above answer on taking a second test but if that is positive too why waste money on a blood test? it is unnecessary.
