There are a number of different jobs to work at on a construction site. You may have to be 18, or 21 depending on each individual job. It may help to call the workplace you are interested in and ask them.
Hi there, For the most part depending on where you are located the average age of a general laborer in about 16yrs old. That is the basic age for a person to begin in this field unless they have the ability and the opportunity to start with a family member, i.e. your father or uncle, etc. Now most construction companies or contractors will most likely be looking for someone that would be very driven and can handle quite a bit of physical labor thus being the age of 16yrs old or older.
