Answer: Yes, you very well can.
Answer: No, you can't. In my case, I first smoked marijuana when I was 12 years old. I am now almost 18. I have never craved marijuana, never felt like I needed to smoke it. I smoke it if I have free time and have a little extra money I'm willing to spend. As of April 7 2011 I have not smoked any marijuana for at least 6 months. As I type this I don't feel any urge to quit my job, sell my house, buy as much weed as I can and smoke all of it at once. If I have the opportunity to smoke with some good friends, then I will. Its not like cigarettes (which I think are nasty). Dont let anyone tell you that smoking will lead to other drugs. People have gone from weed to cocain and heroin, but weed didnt make them do it.
Answer: Yes, people can and do get addicted to marijuana. Anyone can become addicted to anything, and marijuana is no exception. People get addicted when something gives them a high, a rush, relaxes them, and/or makes them feel good. Love can do this, cigarettes can do this, bungee jumping can do this, sex can do this, marijuana can do this, and so on.
It can be. Marijuana is not physically addictive -- meaning, a round-the-clock user who suddenly quits will not suffer physical withdrawal symptoms. They won't get sick, the way a heroin addict or an alcoholic gets sick if they suddenly stop using.
However, marijuana can be psychologically addictive. Regular users can build up a tolerance to it. They become so accustomed to being on the drug, that they actually feel normal when they're on it, and they feel distinctly abnormal if they stop. They feel as though something is missing from their brain.
Marijuana can be psychologically addictive, but it is not nearly as psychologically addictive as, say, cocaine, or speed.
No you can not become addicted to marijuana as it is not chemically addictive like alcohol or nicotine. However you can get attracted to using the substance more because its really good :-), but this is like someone getting addicted to chocolate, its not really an addiction its just a person wanting more of something they liked. Not getting cravings for it.
Many people believe that marijuana is addictive but the truth is. Is that it is NOT ADDICTIVE. There are no addictive properties in marijuana. Marijuana is a completely natural supplement. People that say that their addicted to marijuana have one of two thing. (or both). `1. they have an addictive personality. (meaning they consume there body with what makes them feel good inside. example: marijuana..) 2. They have low will power.,, So yep that pretty much it. I hope i answered your question fully to your benefit! :)
It is physically impossible to become addicted to marijuana.
