You sure can. At level 6 in your career, you have to choose to branch off to Rockstar (Or you can do the latter if you want) and basically, once you get to level 10, you only perform concerts. I only just got to 10, but from what I can see, the more concerts you perform, the more money you make from each one. I also have lifetime rewards that boost how many simoleons I make, so that's another option too.
