If you are given custody how long does the father have to bring the child back to the state?

The time frame should have been stated by the judge when custody was awarded.

How do you file for custody if there has been no court order and the mother did not bring the child back after visitation in the State of Texas?

If you are not married and there is no custody or visitation order, she has custody automatically. The father have to prove paternity in court by a DNA test and then petition for custody or visitation. He can then also pay child support.

If you died would your son be taken away from his step father and step brother and returned to his biological father seeing as legally he is not my husband's baby or does marriage bring rights?

Marriage by itself does not bring custody rights to non-biological children. Where the children go when the biological mother dies depends on who has custody, whether the non-biological father has adopted the child, whether the biological father wants the child, and on the laws of the state where all of this is happening.

You are a California resident buying a car in Oregon Do you owe California sales tax?

Yes, you would pay California tax if you bring the car into the state within a year of having purchased it anywhere else.

The father has the child living with him and enrolled in school. The mother does not bring her back after weekend visitation and there is no court order. What happens?

If the parents are unmarried and there is no custody order then nothing happens. The father needs to establish his paternity legally and request custody and/or visitations. The court will also issue a child support order. If there is no marriage to establish legal status then the parties must establish legal relationships and custody by court orders.

You are a California resident buying a car in Oregon can you register it in Oregon and then transfer to ca to avoid sales tax if yes how?

I only know about Oregon law and you won't be able to register the vehicle with the Oregon DMV unless you can find someone with an Oregon address to assist you in lying about your residency. I don't think it will help you anyhow. You could get fined in California for not having your car properly registered in California and we all know California needs money right now! Plus it depends on how California goes about collecting it's sales tax, so there may be no getting around it. A lot of states ask for a sales receipt even if you bring it in from out of state. Maybe someone who knows California law can give you an answer from that perspective.

Can you leave the state of wisconsinn with child without father's consent?

What can you do when US born children are in Mexico with their mother she won't let the father who has custody bring them back to the US?

This is a serious situation and the father should be speaking with the authorities. Start out at the court that has jurisdiction over the case, the court that issued the custody order. The court may assist you in contacting the Mexican Consulate. The Consulate will help enforce the custody order. This is a serious situation and the father should be speaking with the authorities. How can you obtain child support if they don't know if they're the father?

You need to bring a court action to establish paternity legally. Once you have supplied the information about the father to the court, it can order the proposed father to submit to a DNA test. Once paternity is established you can request a child support order and the court will set the amount according to state child support guidelines. Is all right to run away and live with your mom whit telling your dad?

Sweetheart, your mom will be charged with kidnapping unless she sends you back. If your father have custody of you there is a court order that has to be followed. As a runaway your father will report you and the police will bring you back. Anyone who helps you and knows you are a runaway can be charged with aiding a runaway. Now, if your mother wants you to live with her she will have to petition the court for custody. And whatever reason the court did not grant your mother custody must have changed. If they do not live too far apart she can ask for shared custody. So speak to your mom. You can not decide where to live until you are 18yo.
