You can buy it alright, but you can NOT have your name on the title. Make sure that you have a great superb and trusting relationship with whoever you allow to have the title in their name. If it's in your parents" name and you get pissed one night and take off in that car, they can report a stolen car and you WILL be in trouble. (Regardless of who put up the actual cash.)
