8gb are cheaper but hold a lot less memory, a 16gb is a lot more expensive but holds so much stuff however i think you should get the 8Gb simply because people have been having a lot of problems with the 16GB ipod touches. I have a ipod touch 8GB and i haven't even used all my memory yet i have 3 GBs left and i said no way when i first got one i thought i would use all that up in like 5 minutes but look at me i haven't.

The 4th generation also has a camera but, if I am correct, the camera is only .7 megapixels and no flash. But the 3rd generation does not have a camera. The 4th generation currently is $200 for a 8GB iPod Touch, $250 for 32GB, $320 for 64GB (Refurbished). If you wait till the iPod Touch 5 is available for ordering or a while after, the price of the iPod Touch 4 should go down. The prices for the iPod Touch 5 are $300 for the 32GB and $400 for the 64GB
