You can, but you will not be able to play them, unless a friend brought it over, per se.
Buy the game.
Yes. The map pack contains nothing but downloadable maps for the game. It does not contain the actual game. You will have to buy the game separately.
No you don't , Halo :ODST is a stand alone game that has 2 disks : 1- ODST story mood and a multiplayer mood called firefight 2-A disk that has all the Halo 3 multiplayer maps that you can play WITHOUT the need to have the original Halo 3
if you mean to "unlock" them...no. You have to purchase and download those maps. They simply arent on the game disc and need to be installed on the hard drive. You also could buy ODST, and that includes a second game disc that has everything Halo 3: Multiplayer on it.<-----thats they best deal, plus you get Halo: Reach multiplayer beta
Nope it is NOT basicly the same. This game's art direction is AMAZING, there are new weapons, none of the maps are the same, better physics, forge 2.0, the campaign is different, and it is my favorite game ever of all time. If you have the money, BUY THIS GAME! (If you have an XBOX360 that is)
No. Anniversary only comes with the six new matchmaking maps and the new firefight map. You only have access to those maps on the Anniversary disc. The only way to play both the Reach maps and the Anniversary maps is to buy the map pack for Anniversary or buy the game and use the code inside the case to upload the Anniversary maps to your hard drive for your Reach disc to access.
Yep i got them all, if you buy Halo 3 ODST you get them all including the other mythic maps
First of all you have to acquire some Microsoft points, which you can probably get from your local Best Buy. Then you add them to your account, enter the xbox live marketplace, search for game add-ons, click on Halo 3, and buy the map pack you desire.
Go to the game marketplace. And then select Halo 3 from the list of games. This should take you to a screen of all the Halo 3 items available for download. Find the map pack that you want to download, and then buy it.
well, at halo maps.org you can get halo custom edition for free. it's the same thing, but without campaign mode. if that bothers you, then download a campaign pack for hce. i have the cmt halo 3 campaign, although there are heaps. plus, you can get custom maps for it.
There is another way but you would have to buy the collecters edetion or aask a game store if you can get the maps
yes
