The proportioning valve is used to determine the amount of brake power to be distributed to the rear wheels by sensing the height of the bed (differences in rear weight) if replacing valve you should properly bleed air out of system. The valve is there for a reason it should not be bypassed.
Putting a PCV valve on a Toyota Tacoma is pretty easy. Just pull on the old PCV valve straight out of the rubber grommet once itÕs out twist the hose off the other end and replace it with a new one.

in between the intake manifold, bottom half.
Follow the brakes lines reward from the master cylinder and you will find it.
There is no such thing as a PCV valve. The PVC valve is attached to your valve cover. I will be waiting for your post "where is the valve cover on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where is the cylinder head on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where is the hood release mechanism on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where can I buy auto parts for a 2005 Tacoma?" and the inevitable "I removed something on the engine of my 2005 Tacoma and now it won't start?"
The egr valve is located at the back of the cylinder head next to the firewall. There is a round plastic solenoid beside it also. ? DD.
yes. the pan has to be removed, and sometimes the valve body too!
evap vacuum cut valve bypass valve
start with chnging your PVC valve it should go into your valve cover or into your air tube that's the cheap way
Changing the PCV valve is fairly easy, just pull on it. I've enclosed a link, this tells you where it's located, in case you don't know where its at. Also shows how to test it. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/maintenance/tacoma_4runner_30k/maintenancep5.html
at least on the 2006 you can tee of the the line from the valve body that comes back to the side of the intake,
Discard the valve all together and plug the vacuum line as if there was no bypass valve
