There is only one reliable way to keep the memory settings during a battery swap on an LS 430...or any vehicle with memory functions.
Memory can only be saved using a 'power saver tool ' that plugs into your OBDII port under the dash on one end..and the other end of the tool plugs into a booster pack.
There is another version of this tool that plugs into your lighter socket and just uses a 9 volt battery as a power source. However, I would not generally recommend this version as it is not very reliable.

There are things called memory savers, memory minders, computer memory keepers, etc. that you connect to the electrical system before disconnecting the battery. They keep the computers from losing their memories while you change batteries. Click on the related link below to see an example.
You can if you get a memory saver that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Good Luck!!
It is impossible without the use of a Pandora Battery or Magic Memory stick.
The motherboard has a lithium battery on it that is juuuust strong enough to keep the memory from losing its data.
buy a memory card to transfer all of the data over to the new one
Random Access Memory is volital without power. Batteries are needed to back up power supplies to maintance it's memory.
change the Pandora battery and the magic memory stick back to normal.duh.
you can't
