To do a cash advance on your credit card, you can typically visit an ATM and use your credit card to withdraw cash. Keep in mind that cash advances usually have higher interest rates and fees compared to regular credit card purchases.
A cash advance fee is a charge applied by credit card issuers when a cardholder withdraws cash using their credit card. This fee is typically a percentage of the cash amount withdrawn or a flat fee, whichever is higher. In addition to the cash advance fee, interest rates on cash advances are usually higher than regular purchases, and interest starts accruing immediately without a grace period.
The cash advance APR for this credit card is the interest rate charged when you borrow cash using your credit card, typically higher than the regular purchase APR.
Yes, some stores may charge a fee for providing cash back when making a purchase with a debit card.
The American Express Platinum Cash-Back card, Santander Card, Barclay card, and Sainsbury Cash-Back card all offer excellent cash-back percentages in the UK. It should be noted these cards charge an annual fee for usage (around the 25 pound mark).
No. It is against all merchant agreements to sub-charge their merchant rate. They CAN, however, offer a "cash discount" of 3%(in theory, they would just mark up everything they sell by 3%, and with the cash discount of 3% it would bring it back to regular), and when you pay with a Visa or whichever credit card, include a "cash discount loss". That is the only workaround they can do; still is not ethical though.
You can use your credit card for cash withdrawal by going to an ATM and selecting the cash advance option. Keep in mind that cash advances usually have higher interest rates and fees compared to regular credit card purchases.
