As an individual you cannot "charge" anyone with a crime, but you can file a complaint with the local law enforcement people who DO have the power to charge people with crimes. Note that in some jurisdictions - especially in some Islamic countries - bigamy is NOT a crime.

∙ 8y agoUsually the civil authorities (the police, the D.A, the Public Prosecutor, depending on where you live) bring charges of Bigamy because it is a criminal rather than a civil offence. If your "husband" knowingly married you when he was already married he has committed bigamy. He may have committed other offenses, especially if he conned you out of money or property.
