Squirt Windex on a thin soft rag that is thinner than a t shirt and then wipe it gently across the screen when it is off.
First, use your cleaning cloth that came with the iPod Touch to clean the front face of the iPod, and if necessary, the metal back. If the glass front still doesn't clean, then take a paper towel, spritz it with some Windex, and then clean it. Use the cleaning cloth after that to wipe off any streaks the paper towel may have left.
I spritz some windex on a soft thin cloth and then I gently swipe it across the surface. let dry. you can do the same thing on the other side.
spritz some windex on a thin cloth and wipe the screen. dont make the towel too wet or else it will get damaged. dry the screen when you are done.
Find a glass-cleaning cloth (ones that are used for glasses will work, too), or a soft rag that is really thin, and then spritz a little bit of Windex on it. If Windex is not available to you, then dabbing the cloth in regular tap water will work fine. Then, just clean the front screen, and use the non-spritzed side to dry it off. The same procedure can be done with the other side, but Windex should not be used for the stainless steel backside of the iPod. Regular tap water works best.

The way that you can clean you iPod touch from all the water that got into it is buy buying rice and putting the iPod touch in it but you have to cover it all. The rice sucks up the water.
you can clean it by using windex and the softest cloth you have. just put some windex on the cloth do that it is damp and then rub it lightly in one direction until it is nice clean and shiny:)
you can restore it
you get windex and clean them
Windex works very very well trust me. Just don't load it up so that your home button gets messed up. I've used it for 2 years now and mine still works perfect.
you must take it to the store where you got it from and they will clean it
use windex it really works!! :)
