Using an iron or diamond pickaxe will allow you to harvest redstone dust from the ore found deep underground. Redstone dust trails can either be gathered by left clicking on each piece once (It breaks instantly, like torches) or displaced by water (usually applied with a bucket) and then collected in larger amounts. Lava will also displace it, but it will subsequently destroy the item drop.
Not right now you cant. But dont break it underground. If they ever do add redstone then you will have lots of ore to mine out
Yes in version 0.8+ higher. But you can't put it in the blocks probobly in 0.9.0 or 1.00
You have to left click it.
Not yet
Yes you can but you need to mine it with an iron pickaxe
with an iron, gold, or diamond pickaxe (there isn't any uses for redstone in pocket edition so you won't get anything
Pressure Plates, and indeed all redstone items, have not yet been introduced into minecraft PE. This'll come in a future update.
There is no rubies in minecraft pe but if your talking about diamond you have to mine it with a iron pickaxe. You can't use a gold pickaxe
You don't. Since redstone is useless in PE, it is just there for decoration.
The reason is, that the app has not been updated to allow redstone. Once the app is updated for redstone, it will work
You can break the block with an iron pickaxe but not gain the drops. Not sure why they added the ores but not the actual redstone. I suggest not mining it so in the future when they add redstone, you have the ores to mine.
You mine it from redstone ore.
You need an iron pickaxe to get redstone in Minecraft.
In the old updates such as 0.7.0, you couldn't mine redstone, but now in the present you are able to mine redstone (0.8.1) it has improved over the last months, in pocket edition it can be used to craft powered rails and compasses. Happy mining!
You have to mine redstone ore.
As of 06/29/14, there are no Redstone Blocks in the PS3 version of Minecraft.
