it might be grounding out check wires
its real easy. open the hood and their are 2 screws attachng the headlights. unscrew those and their should be two wires attaching to the headlight. make sure th car is off and disconnect those. get the new headlight and connect the two wires then just screw the headlights back...takes about 5 min

have you try the fuse box? check for voltage on the wires going to the socket if not simply trace back your wires until you find the open source. it could also be the headlights switch.

unscrew the front bumber section covering bottom of headlights, unscrew actual headlights and remove wires, remove headlights, check all the rights bulbs are in right position, attach wires to the new headlights then screw them on, wack the bumber back on, then ur done m8, that simple.

If you already got the halo assembly if not you need to go and get new halo headlights eBay i got mine for celica free shipping, then when you get them just connect up all the wires and then there will be one extra wire that you will have to ground to make halos work. All done nice cool looking headlights good job :)
