I don't think you can. Your player has specific ports which allow your 5.1 set to connect to it. Sadly, a laptop doesn't have ports for this type of connection.
However, if you can get hold of an AUX cable, you will be able to connect your laptop directly to your player, and play songs off your laptop directly through you home cinema.
