no the Nintendo ds lite dose not work with WPA, Howeverthe new Nintendo DSi dose work with WPA and WPA2 but don't go out buying a Nintendo dsi, its no worth it only if you want to use wifi OS you can down grade your router to wep it may be low secuirty but its the only way. Hope I can help:)

∙ 12y agoYes, it will. My current wireless router at home has WPA2 security, and I managed to use the USB adapter to use my DS Lite to go online in Pokemon White. Since it works for white, it should without a doubt work for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver as well.

It is to do with your wifi settings. You have two options. 1: Change them. just go to Nintendo website to see how 2: buy a Nintendo Wifi Usb Connector.
