The Firebird Formula is one step "below" a Trans Am. At least in appearance. Throughout the years the Formula was made available with all the T/A performance but without the extra spoilers, etc. In many cases, the Formula was actually a fraction faster simply because it didn't carry the extra weight. But to answer your question, yes, you can easily convert it to look like a T/A. Just find a donor car and add the missing spoilers.
You can make a look-alike clone of one, but it will never be an original
The Trans Am was the performance version of the Firebird.
Badging and appearance items mainly but, the ws6 handling and performance package was also only available as a TransAm.
A Pontiac Firebird not a Trans-Am
A Trans Am is a package on a Firebird.
well you can change the entire rear hatch with that of a trans am's but I dont think it would be worth the the money to convert the car into a trans am style car.
Sure. The Firebird and TA are about the same car. It's mostly all cosmetics and a bigger engine. Just change all the "stuff".
yes
My 1994 Trans Am does, it will go up to 110. I found out that the top speed of a 1994 Firebird or Trans Am is 156 mph.
A 1969 Charger (200mph) is a faster car than a 1978 Trans Am Firebird (123mph).
If you own a trans am like me it pisses me off when people call it a firebird. firebirds usally come with the v6 but trans am always come with a v8..... except for one year (im not sure what year it was) the trans am came with a twin turboed buick grand national engineWow....actually a Trans Am IS a Firebird. It's actually a Firebird Trans Am. The T/A is a package upgrade. Spoilers, engines, handling package, etc. The only Firebird that may be "better" than a T/A were some of the Formula versions. All the same performance mods but usually less weight. They didn't come with all the spoilers, etc. So if it pisses you off to hear your T/A called a Firebird, I submit you may be suffering from "little man" syndrome.
it will have the 700-r4
