It really depends on how long the food has been out of refrigeration. It is recommended that food only be outside for five hours, including cooling, prep time and serving. For household use, I would say use your best judgment or freeze immediately.

∙ 13y agoIt's safer to first defrost the chicken then cook it quickly to ensure it's cooked all the way through. Then add it to the curry. This way you know that the meal is safe.
