You can unlock everything in MotorStorm Apocalypse by progressing through the single-player campaign and completing various events and challenges. By earning experience points and leveling up, you'll unlock new vehicles, customizations, and tracks. Additionally, some items may require specific tasks or achievements to be completed to unlock them.
You can't play two player on Motorstorm 1, but on Motorstorm Pacific Rift you can play two player by going into Wreckreation, then Split Screen, and selecting the track, ambience, laps etc. HOPE THIS HELPS!

online multiplayer, you can't really customize your player. But, if you look your player and change the first perk (hardline, scanvanger, etc.) you can tell that your player has changed to look like what the perk says.

Motorstorm (the original game) does not actually support offline multiplayer. In order to access online multiplayer simply select 'Online' in the main menu and fllow the on screen instructions. It will sometimes take a short time in order for the 'Online' button to be selectable after initially loading the main menu, but it should appear soon enough, providing you have access to the internet and are signed into PSN. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift supports 4 player offline racing.
