yes you can cut a cricket in half because a bearded dragon having no teeth will snap the cricket in half any way so if you do it for them it just makes it easyer to eat and is handy when you need to geet more crickets but the store is closed like your situation.

If it's eaten the cricket - then it WASN'T too big ! The Bearded Dragon would have spat the cricket out if it felt it couldn't swallow it.
