You can cut it off the envelope. However, it will not be valid for postage.
i heard it was food stamp
There is no specific requirement. As long as the stamp is in the upper right of the envelop, the automatic sorting machines can handle it. If it is too far off, it will be kicked out and has to be sorted by hand.
The most common method used by collectors is simply soaking the stamp in water. Cold water is best, it helps prevent colors in ink and the paper from washing away. Simply soak the stamp until the paper and stamp are saturated. The stamp should slide or be peelable off the paper. Then dry the stamp on a towel, blotting paper or other clean absorbant material.
NG (No Gum) is what happens when a stamp has no adhesive. Early stamps were made without gum on them, so the user needed to have his own glue or paste to affix the stamp to the envelope. This might be that it went through the mail without being cancelled and was soaked off the envelope, or it got wet and lost it. OG (Original Gum) is obviously worth more to a collector.
first you start off with an address then some paper, a pen or pencil, an envelope, a stamp and a hard surface then you write, seal and post
yes, he cut off his left ear and sent it to a prostitute called rachel that who worked in brothel, he sealed it up in an envelope wit the words: 'guard this object carefully' because he liked her
You could do that. However, the tape is likely to ruin the stamp. Most collectors use an item called a hinge, a small piece of thin paper with glue on it. Hinges can be peeled off the stamp without damaging it. And the stamp is usually 'soaked' off the paper using cool water.
You don't. If you've lost the gum due to an accident, you can use the stamp with a bit of glue on an envelope. If you are trying to make it back into a 'mint' stamp, as if it was just made, it is fraud and can even be considered a criminal act. Re-using stamps, known as "washing" that have come off delivered mail is also a criminal act.
first off you: get an envelope then you put your letter in it. Now write the address ( to where you think it should go) okay, now put a stamp on the upper right corner of the envelope. alright now seal the back of the envelope and put it in your mailbox and don't forget to lift the red flag up so the postal person will see it and smile!

I need to clear the title on my pontoon boat that was paid off in 1995. I have a copy from NBD Loan Office with a stamp saying it was paid but Michigan Secretary of State says I need a letter from NBD.
When you receive the wedding invitation there should be a small card in a small envelope with the address of the bride or groom's parents name or, in some cases either the bride to be or the groom to be. In the small card you tick off if you are coming and if you are bringing your girlfriend; wife or a guest. The envelope should have a stamp already on it and you just have to mail it out.
